By default, the device operates in the S300 mode with the S300 Manager software.
To use third-party software compatible with the Ostrich 2 protocol, you need to switch the device to the Ostrich 2 mode.
To continue using S300 Manager, you need to switch back to S300 mode.

Please note that changing the device mode will clear the emulator memory

S300/Ostrich Mode Switch for rev.3.x S300 Boards

• Connect the USB cable to the S300 device.
• Close S300 Manager or any other tuning software.
• Run the S300 Service Utility.
• Select the desired device mode.

S300/Ostrich Mode Switch for rev.2.x S300 Boards

• Short SRV Jumper on S300 Device.
• Connect the USB cable.
• Close S300 Manager or any other tuning software.
• Run the S300 Service Utility.
• Select the desired device mode.
• Remove SRV Jumper.

S300/Ostrich Mode Switch for rev.1.x S300 Boards

• Short SERVICE Jumper on S300 Device.
• Connect the USB cable.
• Close S300 Manager or any other tuning software.
• Run the S300 Service Utility.
• Select the desired device mode.
• Set Hardware Switch to selected device mode.
• Remove SERVICE Jumper.
